Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) precisely targets areas of the brain associated with certain mental health issues. TMS can be used when other therapies are not successful.
Psychiatry Consultations
Queensland Specialist Centre offers a range of outpatient programs for people with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, Post traumatic stress disorder, OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, older persons’ mental health, psychosis, women’s mental health including mental health problems associated with pregnancy, childbirth, first post natal year and substance use problems amongst others.
Pain Management Consultations
Dr Raguraman Janakiraman is trained in Pain Management. He specializes in treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. Dr Sami Ahmad is a Pain Specialist, specialized in acute, Chronic and Interventional Pain Management.
Telehealth Consultations
Medicare has released COVID19 Telehealth item numbers making it possible to have your consultation via Telephone or Video link. If you reside in eligible rural or distant locations, Medicare provides item numbers for Telehealth consultations at all times.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Queensland Specialist Centre can offer appointments with either psychologist or Clinical Psychologist on need basis. GP referral and GP mental health care plan are required for those appointments. Fees are applicable.

Queensland Specialist Centre provides ADHD assessments with our Clinical Psychologist. Fees are applicable.
Independent Medical Reports
Our specialists provide Independent Medical Examination reports upon request. Fees are applicable.
NDIS Assessment and Support
Our specialists provide reports for NDIS upon request. Fees may be applicable.
Functional Assessment for disability Services
Our specialists provide reports for application of DSP upon request. Fees are applicable.
Psychiatric Impairment Rating
Our specialists provide Psychiatric Impairment Rating upon request. Fees may be applicable.
Court Reports
Our specialists provide Court and Legal reports upon request. Fees are applicable.
Work Cover
Services are provided to approved Workcover claimants. These are invoiced directly to Workcover NSW or Workcover Qld. Please provide claim number details to our friendly staff.
